Enation : The Dark Room

I’m blank; no contrast, no colors, no schemes
Void it seems
Open the shudder, let the light come in
Something is being born, it just can’t be seen
Pull away, and call it an escape
Move away from the crowd
I’m in Your pocket now
Resting, this testing has brought me to You
Why did I resist this beautiful process?

So drown me, put me in and surround me
Shut the doors and lock ‘em if You need
This is between You and me
Soak me, break my will and choke me
Wrap me in chains if that’s what I need
Turn the lights off so I can see
I’m in the Dark room...
developing

I’m still, every dream every plan fades to red
My soul is fed
You kick me and shatter my heart
Humble me with grace, how I’ve missed this place
A flood of peace runs through my veins
Here only to serve is what I’ve learned
Resisting, this existing has bought me a choice
Why did I despair with You there?

So drown me, put me in and surround me
Shut the doors and lock ‘em if You need
This is between You and me
Soak me, break my will and choke me
Wrap me in chains if that’s what I need
Turn the lights off so I can see
I’m in the Dark room...
developing

I’m in shock, the contrast and colors You’ve wrought
Who would have thought?
I’m thrown, the image I see looks more like You
And a lot less like me
I’m alive, with time out of mind
Surrendered to the sound , I’m in Your rhythm now
Waiting, this invading love is free
I can trust You, can You trust me?

I’m in the Dark room...
developing
