And THEY DID. Let me explain. The lectureships just got over a couple of days ago and that is my reason for not telling you all about this sooner. We got awesome news when we called home to find out why david had not come to the lectureships. (we had heard on Monday that he should have already left so when he hadn't arrived by wed. we decided to call.) On this call Kevin got to speak with Nancy. For those of you who do not know Nancy is the minister's (David) wife at our church back home in Saint John. 5 or 6 years ago Nancy had been in a car accident and now lived in constant pain. Last semester she suffered a strong which just further worsened her condition. Kevin talked to her on the phone and she told him the story of a Miracle ... God's miracle for her! I will try to give you the brief summary ... She had been watching a Billy Graham special on TV and felt the urge to call in for prayer, after a period of debating it with herself she did so. She told the girl on the otherline her name and her health situation and the girl read her a scripture and prayed with her. Then Nancy went to bed. She had some trouble sleeping and woke quite early the next morning around 4 Am. To cut the story short, when she got up she realized ALL her pain was GONE. For the first time in 6 six years she felt no pain. After doctors ppointments and physio appointments no one can explain why. But she can. Her answer GOD!!!! and I have to say that I agree.
For those of you skeptics out there I am not making this up!!!!
Also I have good news for all. I have my course schedule for this summer and I will be home on June 21 ... just in time for Shyann's birthday. YAY!!! and I will be a University graduate when I return YAY!!!! And for those of you who are looking for the next picture I promised here it is. THe guys just love making fools of themselves.
